Why learn the Sword or Saber Form ?

In our practice, the sabre and sword are tools for developing qualities essential to mastering the internal arts. Extending movements beyond the body allows us to better perceive and train their source at the centre of the body and to anchor ourselves more deeply to the ground. This winter, we will focus on mastering tai chi dao (太极刀), a form of tai chi that combines the principles of tai chi with the handling of the Sabre. En garde !

Saber Tai Chi: The Art of Generous Movement. ⚔️

Looking for a dynamic and rewarding practice?  Let yourself be seduced by the vigorous aspect and generous spirals of the saber.  Its shorter and more intuitive sequence is based on the fundamentals of bare-handed Tai Chi, making it particularly accessible. This is the ideal workshop if you want to quickly experience the pleasure of wielding a sabre while strengthening your grounding and vitality.
