Following the success of our tai chi week in early March, we're offering a new workshop from Sept. 18-20 at the Centre Musical CAMMAC.  This fall's theme is the use of awareness in every movement.  We'll be exploring the relationship between the internal form and the outside expression of the moves.
This is your chance to take part in a long tai chi weekend in good company and enjoy nature in an enchanting setting in the heart of the Laurentians.  We'll focus on the essential aspects of tai chi, those that provide the greatest benefits in the most effective way.  This workshop is for those who have completed at least one introductory course.

Your instructors, Philippe and Hubert Gagnon, have been practising the art of tai chi since the '70s, and are always delighted to share their knowledge with you.  This fall, we also have a special guest instructor from Edmonton, Alberta.  

Paul Bromley, founder of Inner Health Tai Chi, brings a distinct point of view, inspired by years of study with renowned masters in a variety of complementary disciplines.

The last Tai Chi class takes place on Sunday, July 7.  Thereafter, we invite you to join us this summer to practice in the park on the banks of the St. Lawrence River.  All practices take place in the morning from 9:00 to 12:00.  You arrive and leave at a time that suits you.  We look forward to seeing you at the petanque court, just east of the Verdun Natatorium.  In case of rain, meet under the red roof, a few minutes' walk east, opposite rue Godin.

Registration for the Fall 2024 session opens this week.  
The fall session will follow the same schedule as the spring session: Wednesday mornings from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and Sunday mornings from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Please note that I'll be away from October 4 to November 4 to take part in workshops in the UK and Norway. During this period, Yan Tousignant St-Onge will take over.  Yan is passionate about Tai Chi and has many years' experience teaching it. Some of you will know him from his participation in my classes and Philippe Gagnon's classes over the years.  

 

Until October 20, classes are held at the petanque court next to the Verdun Natatorium.  This year the fall session is divided into two parts.  The first comprises 9 sessions and ends on Sunday, November 3.  The second part resumes immediately on Wednesday November 6 and runs until December.
